Privacy Policy
What Bri does
Bri turns your Subscriptions and related Feed Items into generated Briefings. This policy explains the information Bri handles when you use the public website, User Home, Bri Skill, Bri CLI, public API, and public briefing links.
Account and session data
When you sign in, Bri may process account identifiers, email address, avatar, session state, profile preferences, authentication events, and security metadata needed to keep your account and request context working.
Subscription and briefing data
Bri stores and processes feed URLs, OPML imports, Subscription settings, Source metadata, fetched Feed Items, request text, briefing type, timezone, language, and generation settings needed to create Podcasts and companion reading pages.
Public briefing links
Briefing viewer links are public by possession. Anyone with a ready Podcast briefing link may view the rendered page and access the public MP3 URL. Do not create Briefings from private or sensitive feeds unless you are comfortable with the resulting briefing being reachable by link.
Service providers
Bri may send request text, selected Feed Items, generated scripts, audio text, and related metadata to AI, speech, hosting, analytics, storage, email, authentication, and infrastructure providers only as needed to operate the product. Bri does not use private account data to sell advertising.
Cookies, logs, and security
Bri may use cookies, local storage, logs, and similar technical signals for sign-in, locale selection, abuse prevention, diagnostics, security, and product operation. Security reports should be sent to hi@bri.so.
Retention and deletion
Bri keeps account, Subscription, Feed Item, generation, and public briefing records for as long as needed to provide the service, debug issues, enforce limits, and maintain product history. You may request account or data deletion at hi@bri.so, subject to records that must be retained for security, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.
